MY STORY

I have always had a passion for color and a drive to create innovative, welcoming, and harmonious spaces that function seamlessly with daily activities.  Upon moving to California in 2002, I co-designed for a local design and build firm and then became a cabinet designer, designing kitchens and baths in a variety of styles and price points. As owner of Unique Techniques and consultant for Ferguson Enterprises, I currently provide cabinet design as well as kitchen and bathroom design to residential home remodelers as well as new construction. In addition, as past Secretary of the board for NKBA Capital Chapter (2013-2016) and active member of NKBA I keep current on changes in the industry.   I am a Certified Interior Designer in the state of California.  Although, my goal in design is to provide my clients with the best design solutions, I have also entered local and national NKBA design competitions winning numerous awards.  Other awards received include HGTV's  "People's Choice for 2016" and Best of HOUZZ for Design 2015, and 2016, and 2020.  I received Best of HOUZZ for Service in 2019 and Best of HOUZZ for service and Design in 2017 and 2021. I am indebted to my clients as each of them gives me the opportunity to do what resonates within me:  DESIGN!
